Pvt Burley R. Booe attended high school for 4 years before he enlisted in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on April 6 1944.He was taken prisoner of war November 26 1944 and died of malnutrition and pneumonia in a German prison hospital in Czechoslovakia.
