Cpl Reginald T. Reeks immigrated to the U.S.A. in July 1929.He attended high school for three years and was a metal worker before he volunteered for the Army of the United States in Detroit, Michigan on 7 December 1942.
He joined his unit from a Replacement Depot on 2 September 1944, was promoted to Private First Class on 1 October and to Corporal on 20 November 1944.
