Pvt Harold J. Brown worked at the Consolidated Water Power and Paper Company before he enlisted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 14 December 1942.He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 14 October 1944.
His brother, Seaman 2nd Class George E. Brown, served in the Pacific and died of wounds on 29 November 1944.
