Pvt John Fox graduated from Scranton High School and worked at the A.T. Crouch Creamery. He enlisted on 8 September 1943 at Little Rock, Arkansas.He was seriously wounded in action on 14 July 1944.
He was promoted to Private First Class on 20 July 1944 and was again seriously wounded in action the same day.
