Sgt William Landrich graduated from Cuba Central School in 1937.

He enlisted on 18 January 1944 in Buffalo, New York and was sent overseas in August 1944.

He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 31 August 1944 and was promoted to Sergeant on 5 October 1944.

His father was born in Poland.
