Pvt John Mc Gregor attended high school for four years and was working in the coal mines.He enlisted on 28 March 1944 at Fort Logan, Colorado. He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 14 October 1944 and was seriously wounded in action on 7 November and died the same day.
