Pvt Steven Schuyler enlisted on 8 June 1942 at Dallas, Texas. He landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day.He was promoted to Sergeant on 7 July and to Staff Sergeant on 27 July 1944 and was seriously wounded in action on 30 July 1944. His rank was reduced to Private on 10 November 1944.
