S/Sgt Kenneth Wingard enlisted on 13 February 1942 in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.He landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He was lightly wounded in action on 12 July 1944. After being hospitalized in London, he returned to his unit.
He is remembered at the cemetery of Munderf, Pennsylvania.
