More information
Pfc Mc Gee was initially buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 11 December 1944. After being disinterred on 29 June 1948, he was given his final resting place on 15 July 1949.Because he hadn't mentioned his wife as next of kin and because she didn't use her maiden name, it took more than a year to find her. This is why he was given his final resting place on such a late date.
Pfc Mc Gee was probably killed by artillery fire.
