On November 16, the division began its drive to the Roer River, blasting its way through Siersdorf, Setterich, Durboslar, and Bettendorf, and reaching the Roer by the end of the month.S/Sgt Eino Aho joined his unit from Replacement Depot on 17 June 1944. He was promoted from Sgt to S/Sgt on 5 October 1944.
S/Sgt Eino R. Aho first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Margraten, Netherlands Block B, Row 11, Grave 274.
