Pfc John W. Arrowsmith Jr. enlisted in New Haven, Connecticut on 6 January 1944.He joined his unit from replacement depot on 3 August 1944 and was promoted to Pfc on 20 August 1944.
He was killed by a mortar shell in a foxhole near Julich, Germany.
