Pvt Roman R. Wytovich enlisted in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on 21 January 1941. He was sent overseas in September 1944.Pvt Wytovich never saw his son who was only three months old when he was killed.
He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Grand Failly, France.
His brother Joseph served in the Philippines.
