Pfc John A. Zier attended Clifton High School and was employed by Raysbestos-Manhattan Inc.He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 20 July 1943 and was sent overseas in August 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
