2nd Lt William B. Cushwa Jr. was a payroll clerk.He enlisted in Baltimore, Maryland, on 29 August 1942.
2nd Lt Cushwa was killed by machine gun fire in the back of the abdomen.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France. He was disinterred on 10 August 1948 and his remains were evacuated to Luxembourg Cemetery where he was given his final resting place on 26 February 1949.
