S/Sgt Walter Rohrbach enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 10 March 1943. His training was received at Camp Butner, N.C. in Tennessee and at Camp Pickett, Va. In October, 1944 he was sent overseas. A graduate of the Allentown High School, Sgt Rohrbach was formerly employed by the Lehigh Structural Steel Co. where he worked as a Welder.
