Pfc James F. Hols was employed by the Iowa-Illinois Gas and electric Company in Rock Island.His father was born in Holland.
At the time of his death, his brother Jacob was recovering from wounds in an army hospital in Atterbury, Indiana, which he had suffered in November 1944 in Luxembourg.
