Pfc Sidney L. Collins enlisted at Fort Lewis, Washington on 28 March 1944.He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 23 March 1945. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his final resting place on 23 July 1948.
Pfc Collins died of shell fragments in the chest and head.
