Cpl Russell O. Miller enlisted in Salt Lake City, Utah on 20 July 1942.

Word was received from the War Department by Mrs. Russell Miller of Lovelock stating that her husband, Corporal Russell Miller, was killed in action in Germany on December 9. He was born in North Dakota, was gradated from high school at Butler, Mo., and prior to his induction in the army in August of 1942 was manager of the Safeway store in Lovelock. He was maried to Miss Marguerite DeVita in May of this year.

Cpl Russell O. Miller first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Henri-Chapelle, Belgium Block GG, Row 1, Grave 11.
