More information

Pfc Carmelo J. Amoroso was employed by the Bolta Rubber Co. before he enlisted in Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 8 April 1944.

On the first picture he is posing with his fiancée Sally. He is 20 years of age here and that was the last photograph the family had of him before he went off to war. He planned on getting married as soon as he came home. He had proposed to her right before the picture. This picture is the one that is used in his death announcement”.

The next picture was taken when he must have been six years of age and one the last picture he is standing behind his mother.
