Pfc Ralph L. Jacobs enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 27 June 1944 and was sent overseas in December 1944.

He was reported wounded in action on 4 March 1944 and died of his wounds in a hospital in Belgium a day later.
