Pfc Wayne Snay enlisted in Buffalo, New York on 18 April 1941. He was sent overseas in September 1943 and last was heard from by his family in France in a letter dated 31 August 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
He is remembeed at Grove Cemetery in Bath, Steuben County New York.
