S/Sgt Wilburn E. Farris was a farmer before he enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 23 September 1942.S/Sgt Farris' remains were found in Hürtgen and first registered as Unknown X-5379. He was identified at the research facilities at Ardennes Cemetery.
