Pvt Louis E. Mature graduated from St. Xavier High School.he was attending
He enlisted in August 1942 and attended Ohio State University under the Army specialized training program. When this program was disbanded, he was transferred to the infantry.
He was overseas for two months when he was killed in action.
Pvt Mature was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Andilly, France.
