Pfc Harry A. Davis Jr. attended the University of Chicago for one year and left in 1942 to enlist into the service.He volunteered for the Army fo the United States in Chicago, Illinois on 13 July 1942.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Limey, France.
