Pfc Theodore J. Mc Cuen graduated from Lincoln High School and attended Oregon State University in the class of 1946 and was employed at Willamette Iron and Steel.He enlisted in Portland Oregon on 15 March 1943. He was selected for the Army Specialized Training Program (A.S.T.P.) and studied at City College in New York City. He was sent overseas in August 1944.
