Sgt Elmer C. Ralston enlisted in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 6 November 1942. He was sent overseas in September 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the stomach.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
