Pfc John C. Hall was employed at the Florida Citrus Canner's Cooperative before he volunteered for the Army of the United States in Camp Banding, Florida on 14 November 1942.He died in a field hospital to the effects of artillery shell fragments.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
