Pfc Page C. Thompson attended high school for four years and was a sales clerk before he enlisted in Camp Croft, South Carolina on 22 January 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his leg.
He is remembered at the Shiloh Cemetery in Sparta, Alleghany County, North Carolina.
