Pvt Jacques G. Betz attended high school for four years and was a mechanic and repairman at the Ranger Aircraft at Farmingdale before he enlisted in New York City, New York on 21 August 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in St. Avold, France.
