Sgt Homer M. Tiller graduated from Colorado City High School.

He was based in England since February 1944.

At 1101 hours, Aircraft 471 was attacked by fighters, peeled to the left with #3 engine on fire and spreading to the fuselage. Two men bailed out, and chutes opened. The plane then went into a spin and exploded, going into the clouds.
