S/Sgt Paul A. Zielinski attended high school for three years and was a bartender.He joined the Regular Army in 1930 and was stationed at Fort Davis, Cristobal District, Panama. He rejoined at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 29 February 1944.
S/Sgt Zielinski was seriously wounded and evacuated to the clearing station of the 305th Medical Battalion where he died of his wounds.
