More information

Pvt William F. Forsyth was a maintenance painter before he enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 19 March 1944.
He was reported seriously wounded in action during the attack on Hill 407 near Bratte, France on 8 October and brought to the 305th Medical Battalion Clearing Station, that was situated at the electric light plant in Millery at that time, where he died of his wounds.
