Pvt William F. Forsyth was a maintenance painter before he enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 19 March 1944.He was reported seriously wounded in action during the attack on Hill 407 near Bratte, France on 8 October and brought to the 305th Medical Battalion Clearing Station, that was situated at the electric light plant in Millery at that time, where he died of his wounds.
