More information

Pvt George F. Knickmeyer graduated from the Hadley Tech School before he enlisted at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri on 27 January 1944.

He was reported seriously wounded in action on 10 October and evacuated to the 305th Medical Battalion Clearing Station that was stationed on the grounds of the electric light plant in Millery at that time.
