2nd Lt Jerome H. Geimer was a construction worker at the CR Wermuth and Son Co. before he enlisted in Toledo, Ohio on 1 July 1942.He was sent overseas in June 1944 and was promoted on the field of battle from technical sergeant to second lieutenant in October 1944.
