S/Sgt Jere A. Miller attended 2 years of high school and was a foreman before he enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut on 2 March 1942.He was wounded in action on 15 September in the vicinity of Sainte Geneviève and send to the 59th Evacuation Hospital, that was operating in Rioz, France.
