Pfc Henry H. Brewer was an employer of Avondale Mills before he enlisted at Fort McClellan, Alabama on 30 July 1942.

He was reported lightly wounded in action in Sivry, France on 5 October and brought to the 101th Evacuation Hospital where he died of his wounds.
