Pvt Curtiss W. Ahlgran attended Westfield High School and Newark Preparatory School. He was employed at Otis Elevator Company in Harrison, New Jersey.He was reported lightly wounded in action and brought to a hospital on 28 November. At that moment his unit was engaged in a fighting one mile east of Seinghouse, France.
