More information

Pvt William F. Horn enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 16 June 1943.

Eward W Wood:
"The night of December 17th was a nightmare for the 38th. There was no sleep for anyone. The enemy armored column which had infiltrated unstable lines kept the regiment alerted throughout the night. Clashes between foot troops and friendly and enemy tanks were common during the hours of darkness. Communications between battalions were virtually impossible since artillery had severed all lines."

Pvt William F. Horn first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Ardennes, Belgium Block D, Row 4, Grave 87.
