Pfc James V. P. Iovacchini was a flame cutter. He was also a bookkeeper for his father who was a mason in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 14 August 1944.
His parents were born in Italy.
Pfc Iovacchini died in the 102nd Evacuation Hospital at Bad Neuenahr. He was first buried at the American Temporary Military Cemetery in Ittenbach, Germany.
