Pfc Lester M. Stanley attended high school for one year and was employed by the Columbian Rope Company before he enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 8 March 1944.He was the youngest child of the family. All his brothers served during the war and he was the only one not to come home.
He was killed by small arms fire in the stomach.
