1st Lt Willard A. Moore graduated from Wendell Wilke High School in 1936 and was employed at the H.J. Schader Company.He joined the National Guard in Elwood, Indiana on 17 January 1941.
He was killed when a mine exploded under a jeep that he was riding in.
