Pfc Manley S. Hughson worked as a driver for Ritter Bros, Harrisburgh, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

He joined the Regular Army in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 17 October 1940.

According to the Hospital Admission Card File, Pfc Hughson was shot in the thorax and abdomen in April. He died of his wounds on 2 May 1945.
