Pvt Frederick E. Cassidy was employed by the Sun Oil Company at Twin Oaks.

He enlisted on 15 September 1943 at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 17 July 1944 and was seriously wounded in action on 8 August 1944. After recovering, he rjoined his unit.
