Pfc Edwin T. Reiber graduated from Hastings High School and worked for the Hastings Casket Co.

He enlisted at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on 23 August 1944. He was sent overseas in Janaury 1945 and joined his unit from a replacement depot on 1 March 1945 and was promoted to Private First Class on 13 April 1945.

Pfc Reiber drowned.
