Pfc Clarence A. Williams graduated from Batavia High School in 1943 and attended Hamilton College at Clinton for 1 year.He joined the Army in Utica, New York on 25 August 1943. He was selected for the Army Specialized Training Program at Carnegie Technical University until the program was abandoned. He was sent overseas on 15 August 1944.
He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Limey, France.
