Pfc Leo V. Hein enlisted in Camp Dodge Herrold, Iowa on 4 May 1944 and went oversaes in November 1944.He attended high school for 1 year and was a driver before he enlisted.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Limey, France.
