Pvt Carl H. Schrecker was a production worker before he enlisted in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on 8 January 1944.
He was reported lightly wounded in action and brought to a hospital on 8 November. At that time his unit was engaged in the fighting in the vicinity of Raucourt, France.
