Pvt Donald Stauder graduated from Norwood High School and was employed at the Wright Plant in Lockland.He enlisted at Cincinnati, Ohio on 24 June 1943. He was sent overseas in February 1944 and joined his unit from a Replacement Depot on 27 October 1944.
He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 28 November 1944. After the cemetery was given a permanent status and after he was disinterred, Pvt Stauder was given his final resting place on 8 April 1949.
