Sgt Anthony J. Paradiso graduated from Calvert High School and was employed at Tiffin Electric Shoe Shop.He enlisted in Toledo, Ohio on 23 October 1943.
He joined his unit from a Replacement Depot on 7 August 1944 and was seriously wounded in action on 1 September 1944. He rejoined his unit on 3 January 1945. On 27 February 1945, he was lightly wounded in action.
The photo was taken in high school in 1939.
