Sgt Anthony J. Paradiso graduated from Calvert High School and was employed at Tiffin Electric Shoe Shop.

He enlisted in Toledo, Ohio on 23 October 1943.

He joined his unit from a Replacement Depot on 7 August 1944 and was seriously wounded in action on 1 September 1944. He rejoined his unit on 3 January 1945. On 27 February 1945, he was lightly wounded in action.

The photo was taken in high school in 1939.
