Pvt Robert W. Foley was employed at Eastman Kodak Company.

He volunteered for the Army of the United States in Rochester, New York on 13 August 1942. He was sent overseas in February 1944.

His remains were found in Vossenack and initially registered as Unknown X-2774. He was evacuated to Ardennes Cemetery and could be indentified at the research facilities.
